Julia Bevacqua
Urban Planning Student
Julia is an urban planning student with a passion for sustainable urban development. Her interest in planning first developed after she learned of the massive contribution that cities make to global CO2 emissions. Julia is energized to use good planning practices and community engagement to combat climate change and facilitate beautiful spaces where people and the planet can thrive.
Julia has a keen eye for detail and is an organized project manager who loves taking on new tasks. During her urban planning studies, Julia has created policy briefs, conducted highest and best use analyses, written essays on planning theory, designed planning-inspired walking tours, and more.
She is currently completing her Master of Planning at Ryerson University and holds bachelor’s degrees in business and media studies from the Ivey Business School and Western University.
Julia is a recent Toronto resident and is enthusiastically (but carefully) discovering the city on her beloved bike.
