We are proud to share the Mid-Rise Building GFA Calculator!
Based on the City of Toronto’s Mid-Rise Buildings Design Guidelines, we created a GFA calculator with an interactive interface. This calculator helps determine key built-form aspects of mid-rise buildings on Avenues, including the permitted height, front and rear setbacks, stepbacks, and the estimated gross floor area.
The user will be prompted to provide five simple inputs for the calculation. The intent of this calculator is to help users quickly get a high-level understanding of the development potential of a given mid-rise building site.
